This week wasn't my most creatively explosive, but that's okay! My day job kept me busy, and I've been gearing up for a long-awaited trip to Portugal to reconnect with family and friends (and maybe sneak in some relaxation time!).

While creativity might have taken a back seat, I haven't been entirely idle. Here's what I've been up to:

Tune up the website:Â I spent some quality time tweaking the website for better SEO, improved security, and smoother performance. A website that works hard deserves to work smarter, right?
Fuel the mind: I'm still engrossed in "To Sleep in a Sea of Stars" and "Four Thousand Weeks." These books offer a captivating escape and some thought-provoking ideas.
Entertainment picks: On the entertainment front, I enjoyed the surprisingly delightful "The Fall Guy" and...well, "Mr. Nobody." The latter was a long-awaited watch, but ultimately left me wanting more. Maybe the meaning truly is in the journey, not just the destination?

Portugal awaits! I'm excited to explore, reconnect, and hopefully gather some inspiration for future creative endeavors. I'll be sure to share any exciting discoveries upon my return.
Fire and Fury...of the Kitchen!
Speaking of excitement, can we talk about the return of two incredible shows? House of the Dragon is back with its fire-breathing dragons and political intrigue, and The Bear is serving up another season of high-pressure kitchen chaos. I, for one, am absolutely thrilled!
